Why was my incentive denied or placed on hold?

Our market research clients offer high incentives to receive thoughtful and honest answers from our market insights community members. Members who fail to meet these expectations risk forfeiting their incentive payment if our client rejects their response because it is either not thoughtful or appears fraudulent in nature.

What does it mean not to be thoughtful? Examples include but are not limited to:

  1. Failing Survey Attention Checks
  2. Taking a survey in less than 35% of the estimated time
  3. Gibberish in open end responses

What is a fraudulent answer? Examples include but are not limited to:

  1. Lying in a survey or interview screener
    1. ie, saying you are a non-paid caregiver, and being a professional caregiver
    2. Lying about your experience with a consumer product or your professional expertise
  2. Using an IP address that is a known source of fraud according to secondary fraud tracking databases.
    1. We ban all IP addresses associated with Digital Ocean from participating in Nomadic Insights market research projects.
  3. Attempting to take a survey multiple times from different IP addresses.
  4. Changing the survey result status parameter.
